Kraken Opens Waitlist for Its Upcoming NFT Marketplace

Crypto exchange Kraken has opened a waitlist for its upcoming non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace- Kraken NFT. The platform boasts zero gas fees, a built-in rarity tool, fiat or crypto payments, and support for Ethereum and Solana NFTs on launch. Zero Gas Fees NFT Marketplace In a Tuesday blog post, Kraken announced that it had opened a waitlist for its official NFT marketplace in beta that is expected to launch “in the next few months.” Users in the new platform will have zero gas fees for trades, although it will charge them “when transferring NFTs and other crypto assets on and off” Kraken’s marketplace. In addition, the marketplace will feature a rarity scores of their NFTs and compare them to other NFTs within the same collection. Moreover, the platform will also reward creators with a portion of each secondary market sale price of their NFTs, a way to reward artists and innovators in the NFT sphere. Support for Fiat Currencies In addition to supporting more than 120 cryptocurrencies, sellers can also list their non-fungible tokens (NFTs) in fiat currencies like USD, EUR, CAD, GBP, CHF and AUD. At launch, the marketplace will support only Ethereum and Solana NFTs but Kraken says it’s also working on support for other blockchain networks.
