It will be available for purchase both as an NFT and an actual garment. According to BTC Markets CEO Caroline Bowler, the annual fashion event allowed engaging with Australia’s burgeoning network of crypto-savvy women. “With crypto generally being male-dominated on both the industry and investor side, we knew we had to set new ground as a crypto company run by a female CEO and COO, and [AFW] provided us with the appropriate opportunity to do so,” she said. According to BTC Markets’ new Investor Study Report, there has been a surge in interest in cryptocurrencies among Australian women, with the number of females signing up for crypto trading accounts growing 128 percent last year, compared to 83 percent for men.
