Actor Seth Green Loses $300,000 Worth of Bored Ape NFTs in a Phishing Attack

In a phishing assault, American actor and comedian Seth Green lost four non-fungible tokens (NFTs) worth more than $300,000. Bored Ape Yacht Club, Mutant Ape Yacht Club, and Doodle were among the stolen artefacts from popular, high-priced NFT collections. The hackers tampered with 145 Ethereum, or non-fungible tokens, worth more than $300,000. “Well, guys, this happened to me. Phishing happened, and 4 NFTs were stolen,” said Green in a tweet. While he tried to remedy the situation, he urged the cryptocurrency community to desist from purchasing the four NFTs. The hackers, on the other hand, promptly sold the digital artwork. The Mutant Apk went for $42,000 and the Bored Apk for over $200,000. The other two NFTs were priced at around $26,000 at publication, based on the collection’s minimum value.
