Curzio Research, a financial publishing company, has announced the purchase of a large plot of virtual land in TCG World, a metaverse. They spent $5 million on the acquisition. This surpassed the previous high-water mark of $4.3 million for a plot in the Sandbox. The TCG World metaverse is a relatively unknown moniker.
