Global Esports Federation Set-Ups Metaverse Council

The Global Esports Federation has launched a metaverse council to “work on defining tangible metaverse development projects for our global community” to become formally recognised as the governing organisation for the esports ecosystem. Esports is a popular gaming branch in which players compete online for unique prizes. The GEF Metaverse Council was formed to harness practical advancements in the developing reality and make them beneficial to the council’s members. Blockchain professionals, NFT developers, and social media influencers will make up the council. The GEF’s CEO, Paul J.
