FTX Sets Up New Office in Australia

Leading cryptocurrency exchange FTX has set up a new office in Australia amid an important part of their strategy to expand worldwide, according to an official press release. The new branch will have its head office in the country’s financial capital, Sydney, Australia and has been issued a license to provide financial services such as options contracts, futures contracts, leveraged tokens, contract for difference (CFDs) based on crypto/digital assets, and other OTC products. Commenting on the development, Sam Bankman-Fried, CEO & Founder of FTX, said: “We’re excited to bring FTX’s innovative products and services to the Australian marketplace. The establishment of FTX Australia should provide all our local clients with the confidence of trading on a registered and licensed platform.
