Crypto platform Blockchain.com reportedly raised new funding that values the company at $14 billion. The amount raised, however, wasn’t disclosed. Blockchain.com Raises More Than Double Valuation According to a Bloomberg report from today, cryptocurrency exchange Blockchain.com has raised a new funding round led by Lightspeed Ventures with participation from Baillie Gifford & Co. with a valuation of $14 billion. The company last raised a $300 million Series C round at a valuation of $5.2 billion led by DST Global with participation from Lightspeed Venture Partners and VY Capital. It had previously raised $120 million in a “strategic round” in February 2021. The crypto platform’s single largest investment as of last April was from Edinburgh-based Baillie Gifford, which put $100 million into the company. Over 37 Million Verified Users Founded in 2011, Blockchain.com has over 37 million verified users with 82 million wallets with more than $1 trillion transacted across its platform.
