94% of Fortune 500 Execs Have Blockchain Project Plans

According to a survey conducted by Rapid Innovation, 94% of executives from Fortune 500 companies have plans to use blockchain projects in the future. The respondents included 200 executives from the 500 largest companies in the US. Rapid Innovation said that several top tech companies are exploring Web3-related initiatives, including the launch of native tokens to changing their company name to something related to the Metaverse. “Within the next 5-10 years, we see the crypto and blockchain industry continuing to grow at an exponential rate with passionate new entrants joining every day.” The report read “It will impact every industry, not just finance, but art, collectibles, music, gaming, social networks, telecommunications, supply chains, and beyond. We believe that any technology that brings more freedom and economic prosperity to humanity will be a net positive for the world.” Which Companies Were on the List? Among the top companies from the Fortune 500 list of 2021 included companies like Walmart which has already enabled buying Bitcoin (BTC) from their stores. Another is Exxon Mobil, an oil producer that mines Bitcoin.
