Binance has just obtained licences in Dubai, Bahrain, and Abu Dhabi due to a massive compliance push. Binance.US, Binance’s American subsidiary that operates in 45 states and seven territories, said last week that it had been granted a licence in Puerto Rico. Former British regulator Steven McWhirter was hired as a director of regulatory policy as part of the crypto exchange’s latest compliance efforts.
