The TON Foundation, a decentralized layer-1 blockchain from Telegram, has announced the addition of a new crypto payments features to the messaging app. Users can now send Toncoin, the platform’s native cryptocurrency to other Telegram users without any transaction fees. Telegram Users Can Now Send Crypto to Each Other Telegram’s new crypto feature launched on April 28 is similar to Twitter’s Bitcoin payments feature, which has been offered through its Tip Jar feature since September last year. Twitter, however, uses Stripe’s Lightning Network feature for such payments. You can now send #Toncoin directly within Telegram chats!
