Mykhailo Fedorov, the Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, has announced the country’s NFT museum team has created a special NFT to thank Elon Musk for supporting the country when Russia’s invasion started. The Minister made the announcement in a tweet while also announcing that the country’s NFT Museum has raised 258 ETH so far. In the NFT museum, which is known as the ‘Meta History: Museum of War,’ there is a collection of NFTs portraying important moments in the current armed war between Ukraine and Russia. It was established last month with the goal of raising donations to assist the soldiers and people who have been affected by the war. The NFT collection will be sold on the Ethereum blockchain, with all proceeds going straight to the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine’s official cryptocurrency wallets. It has currently raised 258 ETH, which is approximately equivalent to $725,000. Ukraine has benefited greatly from Elon Musk’s Starlink project. When the war began, Musk supplied Starlink terminals to the nation at the request of Mykhailo Fedorov, who expressed worry that Russia’s attacks were causing internet connectivity to be disrupted in the country.
