The choice to deploy Uniswap on Celo was unanimously supported in this week’s vote, with 99.7% votes in favour. The remaining 0.3 per cent of voters did not vote at all. There were almost no direct votes against launching on Celo. The voting attracted about 500 addresses. The venture capital firm Andreesen Horowitz (a16z) was the most powerful, with 1.35 per cent of the vote and 13.5 million votes. Several academic institutes were also involved in the project. Blockchain created the initial proposal at Michigan, and it was voted on. UCLA, UC Berkeley, the University of Pennsylvania, and Columbia University all had blockchain organizations participate.
